Hello,
I am wanting to run dual peltiers on my computer. But my current power supply can't handle it. So I'm looking for another specifically for them. The peltiers are rated at 8 amp 16 volt 80 watts a piece, but I would probably run them at 75%. That would still require 12amps right? Could someone point me in the direction of such a power supply that would fit my needs? Thats affordable!

Thank You for your time,
~cpr

Give some thought to a couple of used AT supplies. They're being thrown away these days.

Also look around at All Electronics (http://www.allelectronics.com). They liquidate such things.

Hello,
Ya! Two old 6 amp AT power supplies would be a TON cheaper then one 12 amp.

Thank You,

Why don't you take a look at Jameco (www.jameco.com). You might find a 12-16V/30A PSU for cheaps! BTW, if you use a PC supply (e.g. AT), you'll have to pre-load the +5V output to at least 5A (25W) or it will go OV and latch off!
