Hey everybody,
I'm looking to steal from a bunch of folks and get free hardware. Since this is a selling forum, I thought ya'll might have some interesting ideas. So could you help me out? What're the best ways to scam people?

Dputiger, try this. Send me $800 cash via snail mail and I'll not send the hardware we talked about! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Why of course! Ya know, I have a lot of hardware here to trade.
A T-bird 1.2GHz
512MB PC150 RAM
GF2 64MB DDR video card
and an Abit KT7-RAID motherboard
I'll gladly trade it all for whatever you've got; I don't care that you have no heatware refs. I'll ship first, no problem.

(do I ever wish I actually had those items http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif )

Hey Cody, NO hard feelings. Having done business with you several times I know your an upfront, honest trader that I'd recommend to anyone here in this forum without a second's hesitation.
However, if I were you, it'd make me even madder to have someone take advantage of that good name / trust and rip me off.

When you're trolling, always be sure to use someone else's HeatWare when people ask for references. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif I highly recommend telling them you're Skorpion1G, John, or Bigcfromcinci. If you're really gutsy you can also use Roger. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Does this Roger guy also hunt scammers on eBay by any chance? If so, I've got a job for him...
Someone ripped off quite a few people it seems, and I was among them. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

How does one become a troll hunter? The only trolls I'm familiar with hunting are the kind from fantasy RPG games. I suppose I could scare up some burning oil, but the FBI tends not to like it when I do that.

You can use that Echelon (my spelling of that probably is terrible) - that government spying thing. Just mention a few words like president, assassination, etc in a sencence; they'll pay some attention.
(probably got a little blip on their computer system right there http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif )

ya know.......I have sent some of you guys hardware without having received payment in advance. Not a single one of you has ever ripped me off. Why didn't someone think of this sooner? Okay, everyone of you that I sold stuff to send it back and wait for your refund!

I see he's not registered anymore. I got ripped by Wesko on Boxlot for $875 http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif This pieceofsh!t ripped off over 600 people on most of the auction sites under several names. A while back, him and his wife made the top 10 Internet Scam list http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif And are under federal charges http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Here's a page I put up for other Internet fraud victims to get the links for places to write. Many have online forms to fill out. I would reccomend the FBI's IFCC site, and the Federal Trade Commission first. Then do your and his states Attorney Generals http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif After that, do some of the others, it takes awhile, but after it's done, you will get satisfaction http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif Especially if the SOB gets jail time...he might become someone's "girl Friend" http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif http://antifenceway.virtualave.net/
