I currently have MSIE 5.0 installed on my system, and was pondering going to MSIE 5.5
I was wondering... is MSIE 5.5 more stable and faster than MSIE 5.0 in your opinions? Let's hear your experiences!

Don't do it, especially if your current IE is running OK. IIABDFI.

Hi ablang
Hmmm... well I'm not brave enough to go there yet:

Do a Search here for 5.5 and you can see what others have to say.
I agree with BFlurie here.

I recently upgraded to 5.5 for about a month, the just happened to do a clean install on my computer, and I am going to stay at 5.01. 5.5 is not ready yet, IMHO. If you are doing fine with 5.0, the just stay there, there is nothing new that demands downloading, and in fact I had crashes under 5.5 that I had never seen before under 5.0.

I haven't had too many problems with IE5.5, but I do have to admit things were running a tad more stable before I installed it.
