I'm new, sorry!
When I start my computer I all I get is "Invalid System Disk" message. Why? and how do I fix it?
My computer was working great then, my little brother didn't touch anything...
Thanks so much

Well there are a few things to check b4 an all out panic http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
1) Check to see if there is a floppy disk in the floppy drive. ( I know this sounds dumb but it happens from time to time that some of us forget that we had one in there hehe)
2) Loose cables can also cause this error.
( ie..IDE cables, power cables to the hard drive(s) )
3) If you have your bootdisk handy try booting up with it in the floppy drive to see if it will let you get to the "A:\" prompt. If you can get that far it may be that something within your Operating System (Windows, etc..) has been corrupted and may need a re-install or at worst, your hard drive has decided to go to hard drive heaven and needs to be replaced...
If I left out anything, help me out here Sysoptians hehe..
I hope that helps a bit dayna... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Let us know if you need any other info and/or help.. I know I was a bit general with my reply so if I can help in any other way I will do my best to help remedy your situation....

Hi dayna
Please do not multiple post the same topic. It causes frustration to those helping you and it thwarts an effective troubleshooting path.
Choose the one most appropriate forum for your topic (in this case, Tech Support).
Thanks!
