After I bought my new cpu a few days ago, I thought I'd sell my Celeron 433 and Slot Converter in an advertising paper. Well, I put them both in for $75 (Australian),and I got 37 calls in one day! BLOODY HELL! The paper comes out at 7am, and A guy phoned up at about 7:05am, and came around to pick it up shortly after, and the rest of the day, the phone rang off the hook, and I let most of the messages go on the answering machine, and I tell you what, I feared for the life of my answering machine! Another guy in the same paper was advertising a Celeron 366 and Slot Converter for $140 (Australian)

This happens evey time i advertise my computer equipment, I get besigned by calls, cause i always put it too cheap.

Heh, i've done worse, about a year ago i put a Pentium 2 266 in the paper for $50 (Australian), and I eventually pulled the phone cord out of the wall.

Anways, just wanted to tell you my little story of why i suck, catcha later! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey,Snuffy, you sound like me with an Australian accent. I now check around for the going price before I open my mouth.www.pricewatch.com is a good place to start.I even use eBay as a guide on some of the more obscure pieces I end up with.Gary

I shop at both www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) and www.pricegrabber.com (http://www.pricegrabber.com) .

They're a good reference for pricing when I go to buy at computer flea markets.
