Hello, What i need is some ram:

Thanks to Compaq Web Site i can't go into too much detail cause they won't give me any info on it.

Heres what it says it is on the display cover

.......1210........

which i take to be the model number but my local Radio Shack doesn't think so!

It's a Pentium 150 with 16 megs of ram which is why i need to give it a little boost.

This is what it says in the Handbook under memmory upgrades:

Memory upgrades of 16, 32, 64 Mb Ram are available. The specs for the 1200 and 1600 series portable computers are............

-144-pin So Dimm
(small outline dual inline Memory modules)

-3.3 volt

Any help on these or a link to some at a good price would be great.

Thanks in advance...................

I tried to find a few of those las year. My research ended when I go somebody at Compaq to admit they are proprietary.

It was cheaper to remove the drives and build a new system around them. You'll end up with a more powerful system.
