Well I have a TV card for my PC and it comes with a remote, lovely feature, lets me watch TV in bed, I dont have to get out of bed to turn said PC on I just ring my modem line with my mobile and on comes PC!
Use the remote to start the TV card up. I also noticed a Radio button on the Remote and not have the Radio feature I went about trying to rewrite this software to allow me to control Winamp with this remote. Anyway to cut long story short I can get the remote to start up Winamp but no joy once in Winamp or anyother software come to that. So my next port of call the Winamp Website, I found numorus plugins for remote controls, all of whic have no joy, but in the process I stumbled across so diagrams on making you own IR port for your PC!!!!!
Unfortunaly I lost this page and I would quitew like an IR port for my PC, has anyone else seem these pages??
Does anyone know how to do it???
Also does anyone know the software which acts as an IR host??
