Need loger IDE cable

I am adding a hard drive to my full tower system. IDE cable wont reach mu drives on the top. Does anyone know where can i get longer cables ?

Most computer stores carry them/ however alot of times the longer ide cables don't work to well.

what do u mean dont work well? in how many inch

no stores carry anythin longer than 18". i couldnt find any

A local computer shop near me sells cables that look like they're over 2 feet long. Don't know how well they work - haven't tested it yet. I was just surprised as I unrolled it after I got home - didn't ever see an IDE cable that long before. If you'd want me to get you one or two, they're $3.25 each plus shipping. I just can't guarantee that they'll work due to their length.

they work just fine
