i have a old pentium with mmx at 166 mhz how can i speed it up and not spend a lot of money

Try crancking up the fsb a little or the multiplier, if that ain't locked.

Though I doubt you'll get more then 200, 233 at most out of it.

Keep in mind that that thing needs good cooling, those little critters tend to get pretty hot.
