Is there an easy way in Win98 to make it re-detect the hardware?

I flashed my BIOS and now strange things are happening - crashes etc..

Remove all things from your device manager while in Safe Mode and then reboot. Should redetect all hardware. Have your Win98 cd handy.

Check in your BIOS to see if anything is set incorrectly as well. This actually is the first thing I would do. This is probably your problem.
