Hello:
Looking for someone to take this Geforce DDR video card off my hands. I'm looking to purchase a Matrox G400 Max Dual Head that would allow me to use 2 monitors simultaneouly in an effort to aid me in audio recording sessions.
This Asus 6800 DDR Pure is one h*ll of a card, as you probably already know. It currently resides on an Abit KT7/Thunderbird 1ghz, and it has simply blew every video app and game away. At high resolutions/quality settings, the only cards that can surpass the Asus 6800 is the Geforce 2 and ATI Radeon DDR. But compare prices with those 2 and the offer I'm giving below, and you have yourself one serious situation to think about. It was a whole lot of fun to own, but my interests are now in another direction.

I'm willing to let it go for $135 w/UPS shipping/insurance.

Retail box includes,Asus V6800, manual, setup cd, 2 software titles(Drakan/Rollcage), and I will even burn you a cd containing the latest drivers for Windows 98 and Windows 2000 on a Sony 650mb quailty dye matrix. This product is roughly 3 months old. Originally paid $236 at SunwayGraphics.com. Keep in mind, the lowest price you can currently pick this card up is for $190.75. Also note, DDR performs significantly better than SDR Geforce and Geforce 2 MX. At high resolutions, the SDR and MX lose way too much ground to the DDR boards due to there limited memory bandwidth.
If you are interested, post a reply or email me immediately. I will sell the card on a first come first serve basis. I prefer using Paypal for transaction, but money order will suffice if absolutely necessary.
Thank you.

You might want to wait for the new Matrox G450...take a look at the review over at sharkey extreme. looks like it could save you some bucks and get a faster card.

Yes...I'm looking at the G450 as well. I've done my research and am just debating what to do. Thanks for the interest. The V6800 is still up for grabs for $135 or your best offer.
