That may happen to me yet, but they've always shared the same number and server in my area. My line speed has dropped, and I haven't seen a banner yet, so I have my fingers crossed. I guess that I should be saying,

Juno sux! I've used their ISP service once. They're nothing, but an AOL wannebee (which tells you alot about them). One of worse Internet services I've tried yet.

on my daughters computer I still connect with a 56k modem and my freewwweb account user name..I do not have their software installed but still use my name and the phone number and it works..dont know for how long but...

<rant> I am going to launch a personal hate campaign against Juno. It is bad enough their service sucks and you get disconnected all the time, but now I cannot use the two best free internet providers because they sucked em up. Juno is like the Walmart of internet access, but their service sucks even more than Walmart's. Freewwweb should have taken a cue from the movie The Patriot and not tucked tail and given in. They should have fired all their cannons and taken Juno down in a blazeof freaking glory. </rant>

If your tired of looking at the banners, heres a little secret....

Download Kmarts "Bluelight Free ISP", can be found on Yahoo or at bluelight.com

THEN
When U have it installed, and are on the net, (the banner WILL be there) change your display setting to the next lowest i.e.

800x600 to 1024x700 then back to 800x600

It magically disappears.

well... freewwweb shut down here, too.

so, i downloaded juno and let it set everything all up.

the first couple of times that i connected (using a custom connection), Juno would open up, as well as their stupid ol' ad banner.

but now, it doesn't open up at all! i'm not complaining. that thing is HUGE, and really annoying.

well, i guess if it doesn't come back at all, then i'm happy!

thanks awwall downloaded worldshare.net it works great. you have to pay a 15 dollar annual fee which is optional and they claim to direct it to charity. I dont know but it doesn't have banners and it is working so far.
