can anyone suggest a good site to make a homepage. Must be simple to set up.

They have free web page space, but it may take you a few tries to get some space, they designate certain days when you can sign up.

Easy to upload files to them, with their system that they call the "Stormloader"

One great thing...no annoying pop up ads or banners on your page...a truly pro looking page, and the price is definitely right.

Try angelfire.com. I think they are still on business but I haven't checked in one year. They did offer a web design program and several templates for your own website.
