I will most likely take that deal....for sure if it is a 7200rpm model,most likely not if it is a 5400rpm model......anyways I have a creative labs geforce II,it has been opened up,but not used except for 3 days,the software and such has not even been opened up,mint condition.......

Maxtor doesn't make a 7,200 RPM 60 GB, only IBM. And they're a bit more expensive than this proposed deal.
www.storagereview.com (http://www.storagereview.com) has some benchmarks on this 60 GB 5,400 rpm drive. Compare it to a 7,200 rpm 40 GB drive. About the same. What the 60 lacks in speed, it makes up for in areal density.
