First off are they all the same or what.

I've read some have switches and some don't ?

What i need is something cheap for my home, If you have one and would ship to canada let me know VIA: Email

I've looked around but to be Honest i don't know what i'm looking for, My cards are NEC with RJ45 connectors on them.

If the price is right than we have a deal........Thanks in advance..

you want a switch. The prices between the two are coming so close that it is futile to bother with a hub. For me, I would check the prices on a nice 10/100 switch and go with that. The difference: say you have 10 computers hooked up to a 10mbit hub. They are all trying to access data at once and use the hub. Well, when using the hub, it will divide that 10mbit transfer speed between all the PCs. With a switch, it will give the 10mbit to ALL computers by determining when who needs what. Its 'smart'.

Or if he has 10/100 cards, 100mb each! That is faster than your hard drive, unless you have a realy expensive hard drive.
