Hey guys....I just bought this, so its retail all the way . Got it home, and was right about to hook it up, when my dumb@ss remembered that I have a sweet DVD Drive in my PC. I tossed away the reciept, too. One of those **** impulse buys where u forget about what u already got.....anywho, this is their second highest player, model XV-501. This is the real deal...

Here's a link to it.....http://www.thecameraclub.com/cgi-local/shop/web_store.cgi?cart_id=8564453.1208&page=outlet_frontpage_db.html&details=yes&exact_match=on&pro_id=JVDVXV501&search_request_butto n=yes

It is retailed at 369.99, which I bought it overpriced for 399.99...I'm letting it go for just $350.00. This is a brand new item! E-mail me for more info.

If you are wanting to trade for it, I only need 1 thing!
A CPU AND MOBO COMBO!!
MUST BE FAST!

Actually, its not...This model supports all the new technology out. It will play CDR's, and CDRW's, which lower models DO NOT!...Anyhow, this is actually a great buy, but noone seems to be in the market for one of the best

Hate to burst your bubble or make you loose a sale, but you can get it for $189.99 at many places online.
http://www.pricescan.com/electronics/items/item500051.asp

If you bought it locally, you should be able to talk to a sales manager about returning it for at least in store credit. If you bought it online, thne your credit card company will have a record of your transaction as will the company you bought it from. Not only that, you should have a confirmation email from the purchase http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
Almost any local retailer--Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, Sams' Club will work with you.

PS:
the online vendors with that for $189 are www.nationwidecomputers.com (http://www.nationwidecomputers.com) and Giantsavings.com

Actually, the 501 isn't the "second-highest" model. It's like 4th or 5th. I have the D701 (built in Dolby Digital Decoder), and i *know* there's a 555 and 511 model as well.

Take it back to where you got it. If they're any kind of modern store, they'll have your purchase in the computer. Even *WAY* overpriced retailers like Crutchfield have that model for $299.99 (+ 5.95 shipping), and Best Buy and Circuit City had it for the same price (it's been heavily discounted, as it's last year's model). MOST retailers have it around $200. Crutchfield has the D701 (the highest model) for only $399 (which is again, *way* overpriced, even for that model). I'd attempt to return it though, as you have a pretty good shot at getting your money back. Then pick up a higher model http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
