Wondering if you all could tell me the name and URL of a free decent mp3 to .wav convertor, so I can copy them onto my new cdrw. Thanks for the help.

Do a search for mmwave2k, if you can't find it, I'll e it to you, it's small, and free. It also gives the normalize option so there's no highs and lows on the recording.

your mp3 player should also be able to do this. i use winamp and it can convert mp3 to wav. also newer burning software can burn mp3 on cd as audio w/o 1st converting it to wave. i think both nero and eazy cd will the the conversions for you.
I prefer Winamp, just right click on it, go to options, then preferences, then click on Output. Now select Nullsoft Disk Writer and double click it to set where the .wavs should be saved. So much easier when it is all in one program.

Go to Musicmatch.com and download the free version of jukebox. You can create playlists and create a cd direct from Mp3's ,,,,

at www.yahoo.com (http://www.yahoo.com) , do a keyword search under "maplay". You'll get 1 hit. Go there and download maplay. It's pretty small, no bells and whistles. But it is the most effecient, simple converter I've used.

I like this one. All you do is right click on the mp3 file and go to convert to .wav and it puts the .wav file into it's own folder called "Converted Wavs" or something like that. It's a great little program. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

just a note - most audio cd players cannot recognize a cdrw, just cdr. cdrw's use a different wavelength laser to read/write, incompatible unless you have a multiread cd player.
