conflict I/0 ports : 3F8

On start up Everytime I get this conflict message I can bypass it by pressing F1 and my PC boots up normally any ideas would be much appreciated.
I have tried changing the IRQ in the bios settings but for some reason my Modem fails to work other than on 3F8.

Get back into your BIOS and check the settings for your ports. They may have the same address as 3F8. Iffin your modem needs 3F8, then change whatever port is conflicting with this address. Most likely you are not using the port that is conflicting, so you don't notice any failure. Check Device Mangler for any exclamation points on any devices that use 3F8.
