I am trying to get a K6-III 400 cpu working in an I-Opener using a Powerleap adapter but can't get past the opening screen...can't even get into the bios. I spoke with the PL people and they said that it must be a bios issue but didn't offer any help.

I noticed that the L2 cache was disabled in the bios (none on the m/b, but the K6-III has 256kb on die) and was trying to use the CtChipZ utility to enable the L2 setting to see if that would help or not. The bios is an Award bios date 10/9/99 I think or thereabouts. Anyone know of a way to get the K6 working?

Also, is there an easy way to enable "Fast UDMA Transfers" in the same bios? I have an IBM Ata-66 drive but the bios doesn't see it as such so performance kinda stinks.

Thanks in advance!
