What is GAT MODE ?

I just downloaded the ALi AGP driver 1.68 and AGP utility 1.10, and in this utility, there's a setting called GAT MODE, I can choose 0, 1 or 2. The help file doesn't say anything about it. What is this thing ?

Well, since you've also got an ALI chipset, which motherboard and video card do you have. I'm wondering how your 3D performance is compared to mine. I've got a TNT2 M64, and the performance in some respects drops below that of a TNT card.
