as much as i agree with you, winME is actually quite good(RC-1 anyway) It hasn't crashed on me yet, and every game i own runs perfectly. it also has no problems with drivers as all win98 drivers work like a charm. Only complaint is those fruity pastel colors in the installation. pastel sucks IMHO. anyway, it's really just win98 with a few bug fixes(like the network card one on startup finally) and a skin like win2k. no cool fade effects though http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif but so far, as far as M$ programs go, this one looks good.
