creating a disk image in easy cd creator?

how can i create a disk image (ISO) and save it to my hard drive. i know the procedure but the menu item is greyed out so i cant click it. what do i need to do, step by step.......thanks guys!

You must first have the cd you want to make a copy of in the burner,now pick all the files and directorys on that cd.Now the image box should not be grayed out.Just click make iso or image.I have found fireburner to be a good program for this. http://www.fireburner.com/

Forgot one step: you have to drag those files into the buring window. Basically its the same steps of creating a CD from scratch--but then instead of clicking record, you goto the fil--Create image or whatever it is.
