Friend has a computer and has maxed out her hard drive space (1.2 Gig... was a lot when she bought it! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif ).

We're looking for a 2 Gig to 4 Gig IDE drive to throw in there, nothing overly fancy, fairly inexpensive and of course error free (please, no junk!). The comp is over 4 years old, an HP I think she said, so she doesn't want to dump a lot of money into it, but it works perfectly fine for all that she does with it at this point.

I'll probably just hook it up as a slave instead of replacing the other one... depends on if there's chocolate chip cookies in it for me! (a weakness of mine! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif) hehehehee

Drop me an email:
rodger@maine.rr.com

Thank you much!

Hey Soopa!
I dunno... just email me with what you have and what you need to get for it! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

5 G is probably much more than she needs, but it's definitely of interest!

Thanks, but $85 is pretty steep for a 3.5 G drive.

Don't be offended, but in my experience in selling a drive recently, the typical price was about $9 - $10 per Gig. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

* * * Never mind.. I think I just found one... making a deal now.. thanks! * * *

Ilogik... I sent you a second email from your reply, and it was returned as user unknown? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Weird, since it worked the first time..
