Just gave my geforce ddr today, and need a cheap video card to work my system for the time being til I come up with the caSh for a nv15.
Need it asap!!!
If you've got one, please, I need to to ship it to me first cause I'm in desperate need of one.
Any cheap pci video card will do. SIS, Trident, Cirrus Logic, I don't really care as long as it can do 640x480 @ 16bit colour thats fine.
References are avail @ elite heatware under plucky duck.
Don't worry, I won't run ripp you off and run away with your cheap $15 card, hehehe http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Codybear, I looked around for 'em today but they're all ISA. They're all bad, either missing memory chips or missing ICs or bent or whatever else.
You got any PCI 2mb video cards you can let go Cody?
The new ones, even though they're the cheap SIS, Trident, & Cirrus Logic type these guys are chargin' premiums like they're the best video cards out there, sheesh.
Plucky
PD, I just checked my "pile", all I've got to spare is a bunch of VESA cards, and 1 ISA (Trident).
If you're desperate enough to use ISA, it's yours for the freight but I doubt it's worth it!

Hey Ed, if that ISA Trident card of yours can do 640*480 @ 16-bit color I'll take it for the cost of shipping. Does it come with drivers or will Win98 autodetect the card?
LMK, thanks. Appreciate your help.
Plucky
I'll slap it in a machine & make sure it works at all...
W98 drivers??? LMAO - last time that card felt power it was in a 386 running Dos 5.0/ Win 3.0.... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Hey Dave, yeah, that'll give me an excuse to get the nvidia nv15 later on 'cause my systems want a divorce with the old weaklin' ISA card.
I'd rather have a laptop for now. Have more practical use for it.
Don't worry guys, you haven't seen the end of this video card fiesta yet!!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
Next in line? nv15
After that? P3-1000mhz
