I need an inexpensive laptop in EXCELLENT shape...I don't want to fuss with problems... I would like enough power and size to handle Word 2000, Win 98, Excel, and internet. CDrom and modem a plus....Thanks, ALAN

I am not sure how much you can afford, but you might one to try the auctions....
got a kick *** laptop for under 1000 american.
we are talking TOSHIBA celron 366 and all the fixings! they even throw a bag with it.
