Two Computers On One Connection?

I was wondering if there is a way to make 2 computers share the same internet connection...I have them both plugged in through the same phone port, and can connect on both of them at seperate times, I just want to know if there is some software thjat will make one realize that there is already a connection and will use that one instead of dialing....thanks

If one of the machines has 98SE you can use the built in ICS. If not there are many ICS programs like Wingate.

i used a small freeware proxy server that works great if you want email me and ill send it to you. i think its about 215kb
