Thanks Szech 07-12-2000, 05:29 PM My understanding of the matter is that the blue and / or green burn surfaces have the highest reflectivity, but the lowest resiliance. The silver has lower reflectivity but higher resiliance. The gold (do they still have these?) has the lowest reflectivity for CD-Rs, but the highest resiliance. Stereos have weaker lasers, so they need the higher reflectivity of the blue/green CDS in order to read the data. I personally use blue burn surface Verbatims and just make sure they don't hit sunlight. Warthog 07-12-2000, 06:23 PM Playstation cds are black, aren't they? Weird.
