FOR TRADE: ALR – GATEWAY Revolution 6x6.

-------------------------------------------
CAVEAT EMPTOR: This board is definitely a project for the advance user. It does not contain the slot cards for either the CPUs or memory sticks.

It’s easily double the size of the largest ATX board on the market. Something you will need to factor in when consider, the case that will hold this monster will set you back a couple of hundred.

Please do not manifest illusions that you will simple buy this board and wham, bam, you’ve built your self a super system. It does not have any CPU’s or Memory, nor the slot cards that these components fit.

WARNING TO BUYER: This is a motherboard for someone who has at least a modicum of experience dealing with server environment systems.
-------------------------------------------

New circa May-June 1998

I’m really interested in trading; I still want to build my super Linux server, just not with this bad boy. It’s tantamount to trying to fit a high performance NASCAR racing engine into the family mini-van. It’s just way, way too much.

Something’s I’m looking for a fairly new MOB preferable ABIT or ASUS, CD-ROM minimum 36X preferable a name like NEC, TOSHIBA or Pioneer. However I’m really open to anything.

Regards to All,

Zotz Mein

If you visit Gateway’s site you can find links to their ALR server division.

I've only got sixty dollars (American) invested into this board. Hence I’m not demanding or expecting anything lavish or expensive.

If I could get a fairly decent name brand CD-ROM or Socket 7 motherboard, it would make me extremely happy.
