power is acting up in my apartment for some reason and so i would like to look into getting a ups...
does anyone have one?

Deep-Sky: don't feel alone!!! My wife brings work home and if she lost her documents after two hours of typing I'd have to leave.
So... I bought a "Blackout Buster" and an "APC" Pro surg arrest for modem and perfipherills(it's Sat morning). The modem protector didn't work on the 'Buster', but I got such a good deal ($49.95 after rebates)
I had the extra bucks to get the other one.
Just pull the plug and you're still on line.

DeepSky: I bought it at COMP USA in Jackson,Ms. You have to look in the Sunday papers for sale items. In Sept. I got 64 Mbs of RAM for $49.95 after rebates, right before
the crunch. Have done real well with sale items but you have to jump on them.Some how I got my reply in the middle of everything Hope it's legible and makes sense!? Pickel
