What generation or speed of the DVD?

It'll be a 5x drive, probably bought from Office Max for $50 (might as well be upfront about the deal, eh 9Hawk? /forum/wink.gif).

So if you're interested, that should give enough info to find out more about the setup.

Dave, sorry for this late reply.
Philips Model PCA532DK/US
32XCD-ROM / 5X DVD-ROM
If you need more spec email me.

Joel, yes this is the one from OM
But I don't think it's required
to disclose upfront of how much I
paid for this originally do I?????

Nawww.. but it does make you look good. It's like if you see a USB Zip Drive for sale anymore.. you know they either bought it from Sears from for $55 or from Staples/Office Depot for $15. /forum/smile.gif

But because of that, it does help to tell people EXACTLY what kind of drive it is because lots of people got in on that $50 DVD drive deal. They can then ask anyone else about what they think about it.

Sorry about disclosing the price you bought them for tho - it wasn't fair to you for me to have done that.

No problem Joel, I just want to make sure
that I play by the rules.

I might consider if for a price a lot lower, but for this, lame.
