lite-on burners aren't half bad. they use sanyo internals which means they are similar to plextor drives! the parts are NOT identical, so firmware updates to modify it to a plextor is not possible, but still in my experience with them they are very decent drives. and for $74, it's a good buy.

I read over at MrC's that these are actually re-badged Plextors.A couple guys have used them for months and swear by them.
