Start bar problems

For my start bar i always have it set up in a two layer fashion. My shortcut icons are in different toolbar groups on the bottom layer and the top is for opened windows and such. Well for some reason any time i restart my computer all of the custom toolbar groups (except quick launch) disappear and it shrinks back down to one layer toolbar (default). Anyone have any idea what is going on. I figure it has something to do with the registry but I'm clueless.

If you drag it so that it is two layers high, it should stay that way.

I'm gonna guess that you have TweakUI installed. If so, you may have disabled some desktop features by mistake.

Go the the IE4 tab and make sure these two options are checked:

• Allow changes to Active Desktop
• IE4 enabled

Even if you're not using IE4 and you have Active Desktop disabled (as you should). That should fix it.
