Just goes ot show you how much they update thier site... the mobo that comes with it is an epox.. but the offer is valid in thier magazine or call ins by sept 15th.. so i'd just call in....

well guys, after posting this, i decied to order one myself only to find out that the motherboards that come with the processors aren't in yet!! the rebate expires the 15th and the guy said it wouldnt get to me in time for the rebate (he said mobo's should be in within next few days) so if your a fast deleviry person, and go with the fast shipping, it might get to you by then... just letting ya know!

In the new tiger direct magazine, they have a decent deal offered till the 15th of this month. I forget what motherboard you get, but u get a new athlon 800, and mobo for 89.00. (or thier webiste- www.tigerdirect.com) (http://www.tigerdirect.com))

Ooops, I didn't see the $20.00 rebate. So it does end up being $89.00.
I just read the rebate info and it says good between July 10 - Aug. 15! You may want to call to make sure the rebate is still good.

hmm they pulled this not able to ship in time to me twice now. I wonder whats up, never had them pull this kind of **** befor and I been dealing with them for 3 years now.

That would be the only downside. It would have a KX133 chipset. I have a tekram mobo and athlon from Tig Direct. A very good buy. Slot A. At the time I bought it I had no idea about those things. Anyway, the kx133 chipset would be the only prob with that deal..I think they only go to around 1G (not sure) and also they are ATA66. But still..an 800M athlon and mobo for 89$!! Kinda hard to go wrong there. For a second comp or kids internet comp etc.
