Their link to the actual product is not correct.

Which board is this actually? There's not way to tell that I can see from the description at newegg and it could be any one of a number of boards.

I understand which of Newegg's boards it is but which Sound Blaster board is it?

Perhaps I'm out of it and I know that I'm not very atuned with Sound Blaster boards but I can't figure out which of the Sound Blaster boards it is and what the "features" or lack thereof it has.

I'm still hoping to find another of the Sound Blaster Live MP3+ 5.1 boards at the $30 price that I missed at Staples when they bawled up my order. (Wishful thinking I guess!)

Isn't the only difference between the various 5.1 boards just the software bundle?

Yes! I do believe the only dif is the software. The platinum version comes with a drive bay accessory.
