Put it in and see what the total turns out to be. You won't have to submit the final order to see that it's working.

Doing some further looking, go here and scroll down to Staples to see your options for the $40 off $200. Might pick the one that expires soonest to leave your options open for later use.

Most online stores accept coupon codes of some sort when checking out. Just look for a link or place to enter the coupon code during checkout. Whenever buying online, you should always look for a coupon code before making the final purchase.
