Is this a good deal?

I want to get it for my dad's b-day. I know Plextor is one of the, if not the best CD-RW brands. This one is reconditioned, basically meaning it was returned.

Be nice to have some opinions today http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

The only thing that scares me is the 30 day warranty, granted the American Express Blure card will double it to 60 but ,, I dunno.

I got one of the Phillips 8x4x32 drives for $69.00 before rebate and they look really cool and I had NO problems in the lengthy 4 days that I used mine before passing it to the customer.
BTW, he's burned quite a few discs since without a coaster yet.

It IS setup as a single drive, this eliminates lots of headaches, including the dreaded underrun, or minimizes the potential.

Here's the Phillips for $69.99 then a $30 Rebate..
