Greetings. What does NON ECC DIMM mean?

Thanks,

ECC Memory is Error Correction Control

A slower memory made for Servers, not for Home PC's

"Unlike parity checking, ECC will cause a slight slowdown in system operation." http://www.pcguide.com/ref/ram/errECC-c.html

"ECC memory was designed with the server environment in mind. It helps to insure Up-time on mission critical servers by minimizing the potential for errors as data is written in and out of memory."

Add anouther to the 133/256 queue. I hope it's not a long time delay I may call Monday and see whats up. On the upside I may have my 3/128s sold for $100 so after upgrading 384mb to 768mb PC100 to PC133 I make cool profit of 11$. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif I love people who refuse to make purchaces via the net. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Compaired to BestBuy and Staples 3/PC100,128s for 100$ is a bargain.

I also got myself a K7 TB1200 OTW from axiontech.com for 107$ delivered via ground. Thats 4$ more than I paid for a TB750 in December of 2000.
