i own one of those 804 burners. it's not all that great. get a lot of buffer underrun/overrun errors...whatever it is, i can't remember. i just know that i made a lot of coasters with that sucker. plus burner programs like nti cdmaker 2000 doesnt even support it. backup now works on it only after switching to a older version....go figure, you'd think a newer version of software would support MORE burners, not less. got rid of it and got a HP. very happy with it. my .02.
