My parents have a Hewlett Packard cd-writer plus 8200 series. My brother wants me to copie 2-5 songs off a few different music CDs to one CD-RW disk.Does any one know how to do this?I try to copie the songs to the hard disk ,but it just copies the icons.by the way,any KISS fans know the guitar tab for the song 100,000 years?

First of all, don't save the songs to a CDRW because the songs wont play on any other CD player accept for the HP burner, so save it to a CDR. Secondly, try to put more songs on the CDR or you'll waste space because there is room for about 16 songs depending on the length. Lastly, use real jukebox to record and save the song on your hard drive or use Music Match jukebox they're both free. Good luck.

The H-P CD writer should have come with Adaptec's DirecCD Software- I'm pretty sure that this software will do exactly what you're wanting to do. I use it for other applications, but I know a lot of people who use it to copy music tracks as well. As mentioned previously, I would use a CD-R as opposed to a CD-RW.
Give it a try- hopefully it'll work for you. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

ILC: Winamp converts from mp3 to wav. That's what I use and it seems to work fine.
