I don't know if I should post this here, but I am not sure where to post it if not here. I am sorry if the Admins have to move this.

Anyway I am just looking for the best site (in other people's opinions) for buying computer parts. I need to buy a whole system and whould like to order all the parts from one place.

The speed of shipping isn't as important as price and good customer service. If anyone has any ideas please email me or post here. Thanks in advance.

Yea I know about sites like www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) and www.pricescan.com (http://www.pricescan.com) I was really just looking for real computer sites that people have had good experiences with. Thanks for the info though.

Here's four places I deal with, there are a few others, but it's hard to get the best prices on everything at one place. These should have about everything you need in one place (although Computer Geeks has mostly older items, they do have some newer stuff). Shipping, prices, and customer service is outstanding at all of these!

In addition to Randy's list, I really like www.buy.com (http://www.buy.com)

The price is usually competitive, not ALWAYS the lowest but a real quality site to buy from.

I usually get my stuff from them in 2-3days, this is standard shipping too.

Beware of the places that want you to "become a member"
or
have a shipping calculator that is broken and ask that you submit and they'll e-mail you with the $50 s&h tab for 3 pounds..
www.amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) has fast shipping too

buy.com does not have phone consultation, but do respond to e-mail within 24 hrs

Toad, my man, NO OH NO, not DieNasty X-Press

The Alabama Atty General and the BBB is loaded with complaints..

Check w/Codybear for his first hand experience with them.

Among other things they do NOT honor warranties

I thought DEx was finally out of business. If not, then they should be!!!! Unless you enjoy giving money away, then stay away from this vendor. I've heard enough horror stories that this vendor is on my banned list.

Check this out:

2.7 is still too high of a rating!

Better yet, actually read some of the complaints here:

http://www.resellerratings.com/comview.cgi?DynastyExpress

Some of my fav's:

"I then got a call from Larry, who we will refer to as Nut-Job from here on. Anyway, Nut-Job calls me up at work and says, "Are you threating me?" I thought I was talking to Bevis. I explained my dissatisfaction with my service and was promptly told to shove it up my $#%@. I was also informed that I would not be receiving anything from Dynasty and to shove that too. I asked the gentleman (Nut-Job) if he was drunk or just out of his freaking mind. He promptly told me to go $#%@ myself. Interesting fella anyways. I hung up the phone."

"I was connected to Larry who promptly told me my business was a waste of his time and I'd get my order when he felt like shipping it"

"So I was unhappy that they didnt even bother to tell me AND they Charged my credit card for an item that they didnt have in stock nor intended to restock..csr's own words."

"They refused to do warranty service and sent me software that i believe may be pirated."

And this is only from the first few posts!

I commonly use EMS for most of my personal computer hardware needs:

I've also had quite positive dealings with Axion:

Any rate, always be sure to consult ResellerRatings before purchasing from any online vendor:

Good Luck,
