Looks like a great deal $50 rebate from Pine and 16$ from www.buy.com (http://www.buy.com) with shipping only $6.05. Come's with rechargeable batterys. Is this a good deal?

I shouldn't have done it because I am strap for cash but I bought the player, it seem's like a very good deal-I have a HP cd burner and this thing should work great with the burner.

Anyone out there with this new player? Pine does have a few products out. Total is $88 after rebate, that inclueds snail ups. You can use cdrw,cdr . Holds 150-200 mp3 songs.

They are shipping over night for $6.05 , thats very cheap. This is a good deal- there is no place that I know of that you can get a CD/Mp3 player for $88 after rebate. The rebate sold me $50+$18off=$68 off $150. $88.This has the latest tech and plays for 10hrs.

Played with one of these at a Computer show today. Sounded pretty good, but the build quality is about that of those $7.95 walkman's you find on the rack at the local Walgreens.....

The whole idea of this player at least for me is it can use a cdrw that I can add and subtract songs and play mp3 and reg cd, a mp3 with 64mb of memory is not much songs and cost the same. I will get one of those too, i hope your wrong about build design, but the wz had a song puck that cost $190-maybe better made but that is double the money. Been down loading for Napster, got 73 songs so far- How long will napster stay running? What other site's can I get free Mp3 songs? I should have been doing this before. Napster rule's, but what rule's next. I am too cheap to pay for music! i hope this Pine player is not a dud! But this thing at least is something new , a faster computer chip do not help that much. Software cost more than hard ware and is the biggest rip I can think of. At least I have a handsome cat named Jake, the only problem with him is he bite's sometime's and scatches me, no small cat , a 20lb monster tom cat and attacks me when i mess with his cat litter,.

Pine CD/MP3 works ,but you must use their software, HP -software will not work, this is great, Pine player a little cheap on outside but inside , it's gold-if the rebate $50 till end of month works- it's a good deal-I did not see any cheaper after rebate. Napa would be another one too buy for $90 at access micro plus $9. shipping. Thats still another $11 but a good deal also , you are able to truely customize your music with these new players that hold 150-200 songs-for free, it's much more fun to pay nothing for music to a bunch of rich bums folks LOL.You can also play MP3 on your tune box with the out wire's inclued. But you should buy a good set of head phone's.

does read cdrw sony disk,never have to use cdr , keep adding better music,do not have to use cdr one use.

Funny thing happened, the Pine player does not work, sending it back pre paid ups www.buy.com, (http://www.buy.com,) I hope I get my money back, turned out this cd/mp3 pine player is a dud! I would have to give this product a zero-it only lasted less than a week and broke!

It looks like I am getting my money back from www.buy.com, (http://www.buy.com,) I bought a lot of stuff from them-My best purchase was a excellent Samsung syncmaster 950p 19", I would buy this monitor again, it's performance is excellent-payed $300 for it. Buy .com even payed for return shipping for defective Pine player -do not buy this thing- it's junk.
