Shipping to you must be a bit closer than to me.
2,400 miles to Ga is a whopping $29.00 http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Obviously these guys don't make a profit on shipping.
I wonder if this monitor is any good, the specs sure look like it is?

The monitor just arrived...
And I can say for the price, its not bad at all.....
The color is like the Mac's semi-clear so its not as pink as I expected, but thats ok...
I did see at the "Geeks" web site that they have "Orange" ones now for the same price...

Be careful with compgeek. They still haven't
reimbursed my credit card for a order they canceled a month ago. I have sent them a number of emails with rude reply's saying they did reimburse it. I have called them twice and they claim they will, but I still have not seen it. This is the kind of thing that makes buying online very troublesome. I have been a good custumer to compgeek for two years now and this is how they treat you.Maybe there getting to big to take care of there custumers. Good luck they have been good to me till now.

Sorry to hear it. I have to yet have a problem with them. What you might do is call your CC company and stop the payment saying you canceled the order and the goods never arrived.

FWIW, Bestbuy has the Philips 17" monitor for $149.95 with a $30 mail in rebate. It also has a manufacturer's 3 year warranty vs. the compgeek monitor 1 year warranty. I have not had a problem with Bestbuy rebates, but then I am a pretty patient person. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Not bad for a .27 dot pitch with a 85 Hz refresh rate at 1280x1024. I looked at one and it looked okay.

I'd give them a bit more time as ONE MONTH passing since a cancellation is not very long in Credit Card terms.
Remember to check all the weird billing cycles also, they may be at a different date each month.
