In Today's Fry's add there is a Mac "G4/466" for sale for $1699 but the Specifications that they give in the add say that it is a 533Mhz 40GB HD 128MB (256MB Ram Free) Mac.
The number at the bottom 2981825 is the number for the 466Mhz 30GB HD Mac.

Do you think that this is false advertising and that It is possible to get the 533Mhz for $1699 even though they gave the wrong specs?

It is afterall there fault. But there's the PLU# that refers to the 466Mhz system.

I saw this as this morning and I decided to but the machine at that price but I called went over there and the pointed out that the PLU# was the one for the 466Mhx system so I decided to post here and see what you guys think.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that "part number" is for the free memory upgrade on computer model numbers1670,1671 which in turn is the 433 and 533 respectively. It's just the ram order number....
