The Pioneer 106s is awesome. Ive owned or worked with the 103s, 104s, and 105s and they're all great.
The 106s is a ATA/66 16x/40x Slot loading DVD drive.
Not a bad price either - $79
The 116 is same the 106s except the 106s is slot loading (like a car stereo) and the 116 is tray loading (like a conventional CD-ROM). Slotloading is way easier in my opinion, and theres no tray to break. (Do they make Slot loading CD-RW's? They should http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif).
