The problem start today...i burn alot btw
the burner is a Ricoh 7060 6x4x24

The prob is that when I burn up it stop opration whe it gets to up 20-25% of the burn process
I defrag all hdd
I reinstall winoncd (and del th reg key)
same thing
Same for cdrwin
I put my w2k image back in to rebuild my pc
samething again
I try under win98
samething
i update the firmware to 170
same again
It does the same thing in simulation btw

My spec
Dual 366@550
6.4 in 3 partition
10.2
13.2
40x cdrom
ricoh 6x4x24
2 x linksys nic
mx300
tnt2 32mb


Any clues guys?

is it a scsi burner ??
then it could be something with the card

have you set pci ratio to 2/3?? im asuming that your on a BP6

i had the exact same problem on my scsi burner

It could be out of calibration too. If thats the prob. go and get yourself a new burner, its too expensive to fix.
