I have Internet Explorer 5.0 on both my desktop and notebook pc's. Is there a way to transfer my bookmarks and e-mail address book from one computer to another by way of disk? I am giving up my notebook pc as I am starting a new job and have to give it back. I would like to transfer all bookmarks and e-mail addresses to my desktop. Would appreciate any feedback.

Go to your windows folder then into your favorites folder then select all. And if its not to big try to copy the files to a floppy. Then copy them over to your desk top computer. This is just a guess. Good luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I'll take a look to see how you might do your address book.

are you talking about an outlook address book???? meaning your personal address book??

if so.. copy the *.pab file to a disk.. put it on the other system
then go to mail and fax icon in control panel.. click add |personal address book.. and point it to the pab file.

Why bother with disks? Locate the appropriate files and email them to yourself. Sign on with the new computer and download.

Done.
