Hey Richard:

Is this spectek any good? Anyone you know tried it? Do you know who makes it?

I know, I tried zeus in my k7/ka7 rig and it performed close to the big boys---I mean I tried mosel vitalic, infineon,( got 4 of them now)micron w/mosel chips--took them all out, put in 2 128 zeus and my original TPC? Sandra runs within 10/15 points of the big boys......and that's with all kinds of different settings!

I've never heard of SpecTek either.

Often I post on what SEEMS to be a good buy without first hand knowledge of the specific item or credibility of the mfg..

Rumor has it that most any name RAM will function to some degree, just perhaps will not o.c. too well.

At $78 inc s&h I'm tempted to try some, however this is not toooo much cheaper than "Name Brand"
