I searched for reviews on this monitor without success.

At Samsung.com the only results were the same as other search engines,, GERMAN..
I wonder if this was made for the German market?

I wonder if it is a model #950P NOT #95p ?

The cheapest 950P I found was $252.00 + $35.95 s/h -> http://www.emscomputing.com/

Dell shipping is $21.00,, Cheap for a 57# monitor, however you'll pay Tax too, for me that is another $12.00 making the s/h charge equal to some other vendors..

While at http://www.samsungusa.com/ I noticed that it is 10# lighter than at Dell, perhaps the box is 10#..

Maybe we have a Samsung 950p here ?

yah i saw this monitor and i could not find out the serial # to search for reviews. i need a 19in monitor and i thought about the viewsonic 19in for 299.99 (349.99 with out $50 rebate) e790 i think

I'd say it's worth it, but the question as to which monitor it ACTUALLY is bothers me.

Perhaps a call to Dell would clear up the matter.

The monitors made for the German market had a 95p on them, maybe the on screen help is in German instead of English and the monitor is the same, I don't have a clue..(as usual) http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

The deal is gone now, it was a "special promotional deal, offered at cost." They have no more Samtron 95P+'s; mine is defective; it's going back and ("upgraded"?) to a Samsung Syncmaster 950P. Did anyone else have trouble with this special offer? And, does anyone know if there are any rebates out there for the samsung monitors?

The colors are really bad on the right side of the screen, as if it was magnetized. DeGauss did nothing to help. I presume this means it's bad... tech support refused to help me.
