Anyone know what happened to all the Buy.Com dollars off coupons? TechBargains used to always have a few of them, but none now.
just curious, was ready to buy new printer and the last 3 or 4 items i've gotten from Buy.com, have used their coupons.

Amazon.com , buy.com and others have lost millions of dollars trying to lure customers with coupons.
They are all playing the bleeding game, who bleeds to death last,, wins, yea right.
Over 65% of .com's bled red ink last year..
ValueAmerica was a former buy.com style industry,
They'd GIVE you a Hundred bucks credit just for signing up, then more money each month.
I bought my g/f a Proteva 366 AMD, 64RAM, 4.3HD, Win98se shipped for $331.00 this was a steal at the time,
June of 99.
A valueamerica, Granted you had to spend 200 to get the 100, but that is 50% off in any language,, they died as a result..
I liked the prices and the ease of navigation, but they are history..
buy.com is sooo similar in financial area it's scary.
Buy.com's stock fell from $35 or so to $0.35
They have 135 million shares of stock outstanding.
I'm seriously considering getting a thousand shares
@ $350 how can I go wrong. I've pissed away more with less chance of coming out
They've lost $135 mill and have assets of just $67 million.
I'm afraid the grim reaper is near...

You may well have cashed the last buy.com coupon..
Lets hope this bleeding frenzy comes to a halt..
We need strong industry, virtual or not.
