I have a customized start-up disk that I need to copy. What is the best way to copy everything,(MBR,system files, directories & sub-directories), onto another floppy disk?

I know this will be a really easy question for the group. I have very little experience with DOS. I'm assuming I'll be using DOS or a Win98 DOS window to do the copying. I'm not going to say how I think I should do it, I'll just wait for someone who actually knows what their doing to point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

I'm amazed that I lean on Windows so much that I never had to learn to do simple DOS procedures!!!

restart in dos-mode
load new floppy
type "format /q
remove disk
insert disk to be copied
type"copy a:*.*[space]a:
when prompted, load formatted disk and follow on-screen instructions
this is what you want, I think. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks guys, Right clicking on the floppy drive icon sounds like the easiest option.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the tips guys.

Actually, Underclocked told me how to do it with Windows first, then scotter verified what Underclocked said.

I'm sure need to use lynchmob's method someday (when Windows wont start), or when the world crashes and we ALL have go back to DOS.

And your very welcome, Underclocked.
